This post should’ve been written when these pics were taken, where to be honest is not so long ago ( April). Or maybe in fashion blogging time it maybe is . Centuries ago. Nevertheless , on the 1st of July which is when this post is actually being created the air temperature is 11 degrees and it is raining. So obviously it is quite natural that I am posting pictures in faux fur . For those of you reading from outside the UK , it is definitely completely irrelevant as most of you are buying bronzers so you can match your body tan to the lighter tan on your face. Am I jealous? Hmmm , yes!
Anyway , back to the post. I am known to wear whatever I feel like at any time so to be quite honest , most of the time I have no idea what my combinations look like in reality because in my reality they look great!
Again this outfit is all by Topshop ( I have no affiliations, I swear! I am not that famous…yet ) and the reason is because in the past season ( apart from a slight glitch around September/ October time where everything looked brown and seventies ) Topshop has absolutely nailed it in every single corner!
So for this post I combined a printed with tigers and stripes shirt with a checked skirt and added my favourite shoes of the past season which if you find them, just go for them! Oh and a belt! Never forget your belt!
Basically the point is ,do not be afraid to mix your prints and your patterns and also try and add colour to them as well , wherever you can! So that you don’t get confused , mix the colours and the prints and patterns will blend in! If you’re comfortable in it, it looks nice ( or so she said anyway…).
Enjoy and let me know what you think ! xx
