Hot pants , the HyphyHip style – even when you think you’re too old for them !

Hot pants my style. The HyphyHip style!

Ok, say you’re not 16 anymore and you’re more like my age ( you make your own assumptions, I’m not gonna help you with this one) . How do you wear your hot pants?

Well, one way is my way . And if you’re 16 and reading this , then stop now! I bet you have more interesting ways plus more revealing ones which is absolutely fine.

I do think and some of you may agree that we should try and dress as classy as possible the best we can. Now of course there’s the other viewpoint which believes that we should dress our age. I certainly don’t think that I am one of these people that dress my age (outside work that is , although I do try and make exceptions) and I do occasionally look in the mirror and think “who is this 15 year old in front of me” . I guess this goes hand in hand with the way I feel- teenager!

The key though to dressing up your hot pants and still looking great no matter how you feel or how old you might be is to not reveal too much ( although some times I’d say go for it because you feel good in it, just don’t overdo it) .

So this time I chose to wear my American Apparel hot pants with a cropped top that doesn’t really reveal anything as the hot pants are high waisted and a suit jacket on top of it and for shoes I obviously chose my sneakers .

I guess half of it looks like I’m going to a meeting , the rest of it looks like I’m going out to party , even for a run! 🙂
