Dressing your age…
Well, quite a big subject but let me tell you how I feel.
Since I just went through another birthday and slowly approaching another big birthday milestone , I don’t think I am an example of how dressing your age should look like 🙂
Nevertheless, I just had a baby which in my head entitles me to feeling and looking (maybe acting too) a lot younger . Not that I was different beforehand but you got to use an excuse when you have one !
To be honest, I think in this photoshoot a 15 year old girl could’ve dressed in a similar way , well maybe she would’ve worn fishnet tights , which I may actually do next time 🙂 .Also she wouldn’t (hopefully not) have a post pregnancy belly- I’m very proud of it anyway at this stage .
But does it matter really ? Do we really need to dress according to age rules ? Do we have to wear long skirts and dresses and heels all the time?
I don’t believe it matters and I certainly don’t believe there should be any restrictions when it comes to expressing yourself . Obviously don’t overdo it , but if you can support it, then why not? What I do believe in though is that there is a time and place for everything . I wouldn’t take a pineapple bag with me If I was out for a professional meeting. Or would I ? Those who know me , you can probably answer this 🙂 .
Talking about the outfit , I absolutely love the platform Vans and I am really thanking god that the adidas superstar era is now over! Yes -before you say anything- I did have a pair as well but they were all white!
I love my pineapple bag too! Following my trip to Japan ( which I will start talking about at some point soon , now that I have the time ) dressing became a lot more fun! There is an overwhelming amount of Chanels all over Instagram ( and again I do own one) but I strongly believe that the fun begins when you stop caring about the brand and you start experimenting with the look!
Enjoy and remember to express yourself without thinking of anyone’s judgement and this is when you will dress your best and have the most fun with it xx

I’m loving the outfit! Especially the shoes and I agree with you, there shouldn’t be restrictions because someone it’s older or younger.
Thanks lovely x
